What the numbers show

FY2025 obligations were down 11.2% from $1.8 billion in FY2024, and compare with an average of $1.7 billion a year over FY2015–FY2024. The highest year since FY2015 was FY2020, at $2.6 billion. In total, $18.2 billion was obligated over FY2015–FY2025.

The agency that managed the most aid for Jordan in FY2025 was the U.S. Agency for International Development ($1.1 billion, 69.4% of the total). By sector, the largest was Economic Development ($720.7 million, 44.5%). That sector includes: Macroeconomic Foundation for Growth; Agriculture; Infrastructure; Private Sector Competitiveness. ForeignAssistance.gov classified $428.8 million (26.5%) as military assistance and the rest as economic assistance.
