What is counted
Aid is what U.S. agencies report to ForeignAssistance.gov for Israel itself; regional and worldwide programs that also reach it are not included. In FY2025, 100% of the money paid out was classed as military assistance. The largest agencies by payments: Department of State $3.3 billion, Department of Defense $6 million, U.S. Agency for International Development $3 million. Agencies report quarterly and with a lag; the Department of Defense reports only part of its programs (status for FY2025: partial agency, through quarter 4), so some defense support, such as weapons sent from U.S. stocks and later replaced, may not be counted here.
